I need help Dying my hair red !?

I want to dye my hair a shade or red, but I need help choosing which shade !

I'm very pale and blush easily.. blue eyes and medium brown hair now , and my hair is very curly, thick and a bit past shoulder length.

I want my hair to be red, but not like fire hydrant red or like a carrott !

Striking, but not overpowering or too weird ! An suggestions / pictures / colours ?

warm brown/red mix. i am pale and have dyed my hair a brown with red tones, every one says it really suits me.

the trick is to make sure the colour you dye it is a very warm colour, not sharp or harsh.

Get something with a little brown in it. Salons are always the best way to go.

Copper penny is a beautiful natural red color. It will look bright at first, but as it washes out a little (trust me it will) it will look soft and and won't clash with your skin's pink undertones.

Remember red is the hardest color to keep vibrant but it is worth the trouble. Red hair is rare and gorgeous.

Copper shades also give you the most freedom with makeup.

I like Auburn shades and in my days of dying red I used to get stopped and complimented on it.

AaaaHA

Just red Pink's posting-Loreal's Copper Penny was actually one of the shades I got compliments on. It did look bright at first as she said but it washed by 2-3 times as a great shade. When outside keep it covered or it will fade.
