twist 2 in sections of damp hair into spirals and blow dry until until nearly dry leave in spirals until completely dry then rake through lightly with fingers and touch up with curling iron if needed

Try using a creramic curling iron, they hold a nice even heat.after you have your curl set, use a medium to firm hold hairspray and wala you have the perfect curl!

1). Use curlers.

2). When your hair is wet/ damp, seperate your hair into small sections and plait them (braid). blow-dry while its still braided or sleep with it in your hair over night.

3). Spray some heat defence spray on your hair. Then use curling tongs and keep it there for about 6-8 seconds. take it out and spray hair with lots of hairspray. then put hair serum or hair gloss on it.

*by the way, DON'T brush curly hair. Its takes the "perfectness" out of it. :]]*

I have exactly the same hair and I find ceramic curling irons really good, they make your hair really soft and sleek. Buy a curler that heat ups quickly and heats up to a high temperature, it won't damage your hair because they are ceramic. They only problem is that these types of curlers tend to be expensive.
