If I dyed my hair, would it ever go back to it's origional color?

Just wondering..I have medium blonde hair and I want to die it white or light blue...which would require me to bleach it to for it to look right..

If so, when it grows back out, would my original hair color come back or will it not be the same?

I know if you had really light blonde hair, it wouldn't be the same..

As far as I know hair dye has never changed what your genetics dictate your hair to look like.

The only "white" I know of is platinum blonde. Taking your hair this light will strip the melanin pigment from your hair and you risk dry, damaged hair doing so. I definitely would recommend seeing a professional. But your hair will most certainly grow back out it's natural color, however your regrowth will be a different color than the part you colored so you will need to either keep coloring your regrowth to match, or get a filler for your colored platinum hair and then color it all one color that more closely matches your natural color for it to blend in. okay.. well, ive done the same thing, and as for me, my original blonde hair color grew back kinda lighter than it was.

but when the roots started to grow back, you honestly couldnt tell that much. i thought my roots were going to be VERY noticeable, but they wernt.

so my advice would be just try it, but go with maybe a temporary color first, that way when it fades out and you like the way it looked when you first colored it, you can go back and perminately color it.

after permanent hair dyeing, you hair has to grow out. once you have cut off all the hair that was first dyed, your hair will once again be your original color. The seasons of the year affect blonde hair, lightening it in summer as you already know. so if your hair grows out in spring and you go through the summer, you should end up with your natural color again by fall.
