Can you dye permed hair ?

I have thick curly medium brown hair , i will be perming my hair because it grows faster when it is permed for some reason. I wanted to dye my hair blonde, but i have this vision in which i have my straight hair and I'm having it dyed blonde and it falls out in chunks .Can anyone tell me if they have done it and what it was like ?

of course you can! you need to perm it first, then wait a week, and then dye it. your hair will not start to break off in chunks, unless it's already damaged a lot. remember, keep up your trims every 4-6 weeks if you are maintaining the length, 8-12 weeks if you are growing it out.

Just follow some safe guidelines...(I've done it)

I'd suggest perming first - because it naturally lightens the hair a bit.

Wait a couple of weeks to be safe - at least 3-4! Then add the colour on...This will give you true colour...

Try to stay with a light ash blonde - not golden or natural as on brown hair you might end up with a brassy tone...
