how do i do this with as little damage as possible? how much damage would it be? and also would a henna work, or does that make your hair darker with a red tint?

You shouldn't get too much damage, since you wouldn't be going to far of your original color.

Well i would streak it that color because it has been proven that too much dye can cause brain damage because of the chemicals. Also its been shown that when people die and they do an autopsy they can tell what type of hair dye you put in your hair because it shows on the brain. So i would just streak it.

the easiest way to do this is to use a hair color that has no peroxide in it there are a lot of good ones out now as for how to do this just read the directions before you start. IF this is the first time of doing your hair its best to have it done by someone who knows what they are doing ,Test the color on your skin first to make sure you're not allergic to it. Coloring hair is very easy. L'Oreal or Revlon Colorist ( this is new ) its great , its what I use.the new stuff does little damage. please no henna its to messy and it will give a red cast.
