Any good shampoos for growing hair fast and safe?

i have i guess you would say medium length hair. i was wondering if there where good products that could help with growing hair and that was safe to use? what are some good products? is vitamin shampoo good to use? what brand? and how often should i get my hair trimmed to help the process?
