Alternatively, purples and greens (with high sparkle) are really in this season and look great on a night out.
I'd stick to browns and beiges during the day though.

If you find that these colors don't do it for you, try a dark red, actually, wear it anyway, I think it will work too. You need to pick up a book at your local bookstore about color seasons, there is a tremendous amount of information about how to dress for the season you are. (clothing) Make-up, wear neutral skin tones.

I think browns, tans, and golds would look really good on you. You could pull off some shades of pink too. But since you have blue-green eyes, don't use green and blue. It would draw away from the eyes and to your makeup. If you use too many insane colors, people won't notice how pretty you look. They'll notice your makeup. Good luck.

For day wear: A little greatlash maybellene mascara, light pink lip stain, a little brozing blush, sweep bronzer on eyelids to ake eyes pop
Special occasions: A bit more mascara, lipgloss, green eyeshadow plus a little green eyeliner

eyeshadow- plum/lilac, gold, bronze, copper, and silver will all bring out the color in ur eyes.
lipgloss- clear, sheer plum, and sheer pink.
blush- a light rosy pink. Or a light bronzer
